Usage of jewellery means a period of time as long as human existence.Every period of time in ancient human history brings new ideas in every expect of life but these get never able to take place of old traditions.Despite the reality that jewellery has nothing to answer any physical necessity in any part of history, it is an obvious reality that human-being wants to find powerful abstract meanings at jewellery which makes protector charms come first for him.A designer’s special design at jewellery makes it possible for a human-being to mean himself and to succeed to differ from others in the globalizing world which makes everyone same with each other.We created a hard-working group in 2002 with the desire of making an elegant synthesis of modern glass-art and jewellery.We tried to make people able to see some reflections at our works from ancient Istanbul culture we admire.We succeeded to handle our traditional sources by today’s perspective.We designed specialized personal charms by synthesizing natural forms into whole.We keep on working especially with the pleasure and happiness of seeing the interest we planned from out of our country and generating employment.

Lokman Kurşunlu was born in Istanbul.He graduated from Electrical&Electronics faculty.He worked and progressed at CAD/CAM design/manufacture both domestically and abroad.

2002- He established Studio Kurshuni with Architect Elif Esra Kurşunlu
2003 –They won three awards in a competition organised by Ministry of Culture.
2004 – They raised number of domestic stores up to 3.They made exportation to Spain(Valentin Ramos).
2005 –They raised the number of product exported countries up.Kurshuni Australia has been established.
2007 – They concentrated to Jewelery more. They’ve partecipated to MECC & The Melbourne Showgrounds and Reed Gift Fairs - Sydney September 2007.
2008 –Collections have been created for shops of Ministry of Culture Dösimm Museum.
2009 – Substracture of exportation was devoloped.
2010 – The role of exportation became %85 of the production. They’ve partecipated to Milano Macef 15-18 January 2010 , Milano Chibimart 21-24 May 2010 , Las Vegas JCK 4-7June 2010 , Milano Macef 09-12 Septembre 2010 fairs.
